A featured program of St. Louis Earth Day is the The Green Dining Alliance (GDA). The GDA works to facilitate and encourage sustainability in restaurants through their certification program and educational resources. Green Dining Districts bring community leaders and business owners together to attain GDA Membership for at least 25% of locally-owned restaurants in a Business District, to strengthen the local economy and sustainability of the region and add a promotional benefit to the neighborhood. Browse the GDA’s website, www.greendiningalliance.org, for more information on the program and contact Olivia Engel, Green Dining Alliance Program Coordinator, if you are interested in seeing a Green Dining District in your neighborhood (This email address is being protected from spambots.
