Indicators

The OneSTL Performance Indicators measure the St. Louis region’s progress toward sustainability. The indicators are organized by the plan’s nine theme areas and reflect the goals and objectives of OneSTL. Analysis of the indicators will better equip the region to make data driven decisions, set priorities, evaluate the effectiveness of the plan, and revise the plan to achieve success.

The Big Picture

The performance indicators are listed below along with the following for each:

  • Desired Trend: Reflects the vision, goals and objectives of OneSTL.
  • Baseline Data: Provided for the “baseline year”, which is the year the OneSTL planning process began (2010) or the closest year for which data is available.
  • Current Data: Provided for the most recent year available. Indicators that do not have data updates since the baseline are marked with a dash (–) to indicate that data is not yet available.
  • Current Trend: Color coded to reflect the direction of change from the baseline to the current data.

    Color Current Trend Type

Current Trend is in-line with the Desired Trend

No Change from baseline to current year or no statistically significant change

Current Trend is the opposite of the Desired Trend
